Hey,

I guess i should let you know what i'm doing before i do anything else!

Basically, i am attempting to create a script that will parse the fwb xml file, and pull out any new objects/rules, and send them to a certain mailing list. I know RCS already exists to cover some of this, but what i would like ideally is to pull out the whole object/rule that's just been added, since RCS is not always as verbose as i'd like it to be, and it's not always used to comment correctly.

My issue, is that XML file is big and ungainly, and objects and rules are referenced, which causes and extra layer of, well, problems!

this is not an easy task, you need to really parse XML file to extract object definitions properly. I mean parse it with XML parser.

Is there anything that either already exists to perform this task, or is someone working on something like this?

I do not think such thing exists and I never heard of anyone working on it
