    Installed Fwbuilder from fwbuilder repository
when trying to run it from system/administrator, it show its starting in task bar then closes.

from terminal when running from command line the following error is produced

    Firewall Builder GUI
QGtkStyle was unable to detect the current GTK+ theme.
Qt: Session management error: None of the authentication protocols specified are supported
fwbuilder: symbol lookup error: fwbuilder: undefined symbol: _ZN9QListData11detach_growEPii

    Any ideas ?

Yeah that might be the problem, i assumed that because Ubuntu is built on debian that the repository might work, but guess not. Pitty cause Ubuntu seems to becoming bloated,(tracking apps such as zeitgeist etc,) hence why i resorted back to Debian.
