Have a look at this example: http://www.xs4all.nl/~josvanr/eg.png which shows part of the cde toolbar. The horizontal stripes at the left side, change their color when the color of the panel changes. I now use a grey-scale pixmap for the stripes, but to really make it look nice, one would have to 'colorize' the pixmap using the background color of the toolbar (colorset 10 I think). This could also work with colors@migo I think, if the colorizing script were to be called in the modules@cde files. Maybe this could also be used to optionally adapt the colors of button-pixmaps to the current color scheme. Making it transparent isn't good enough (well..), because using dark stripes would then look bad on a dark background, and using light stripes would look bad on a light background. > > Also, I think I have to change some of the text-colors in > > the schemes, as cde uses different colors sometimes.
