A real abuse of Fuse :) http://sites.google.com/site/williamedwardscoder/buffcacher_proto_1 in my app, where I really use a variant of this (and it really works well for me), I share the cache between many processes so I have the hashmap of keys to file regions in the filesystem rather than the client. 1) I access this mapping via xattr; ioctl doesn't seem to be working for Python bindings. Can ioctl be used by Python filesystems? 2) is there a way to explicitly invalidate some region of the file from the cache? Was really easy to get this working with FUSE btw /Will |
