I'm really sorry if this is the wrong mailing list for this question.
I can't seem to figure out if there's a separate development of sshfs
for Mac and Linux. I hope someone will direct me to the right place.
I downloaded the latest binaries for MacFUSE and sshfs.app from "http://code.google.com/p/macfuse/
" and installed them. (MacFUSE-Core-10.5-1.3.1.dmg and
sshfs-1.0.0.dmg) Whenever I mount a remote volume, the volume mounts
and works properly.
The problem is that the mounted volume does not appear in Finder. I
have tried sshfs.app, as well as sshfs-static and sshfs-static-10.5.
All seem to have the same behavior. I've also tried adding the option
ping_diskarb, but that doesn't help (and appears to be the default now
anyhow).
I've tried googling for this, but I'm not finding anyone else having
this problem. I hope someone on this list can help.
