I have a case where remote mounted zip files are seen as corrupted. In this particular case there
are two zips of sizes 11M and 66M. When fetched manually with sftp these files are error-free. The
sizes of files accessed in both ways are the same, but cmp really shows that they do differ. Is it
bug? What else information I could provide?
Remote sshfs mounting was done without any extra -o options. OS and sshfs versions are given below
# uname -a && sshfs -V
FreeBSD *** 8.2-RELEASE FreeBSD 8.2-RELEASE #0: Thu Feb 17 02:41:51 UTC 2011
SSHFS version 2.2
FUSE library version: 2.7.4
mount_fusefs [fuse4bsd] version: 0.3.9-pre1
using FUSE kernel interface version 7.8
