We have modified the FUSE code to implement some functionality.
I want to export the fuse mounted directory to some other machine using NFS.
eg. On Machine 1, I do the following:
#./fusexmp /dir1 --> Machine 1
/etc/exports have an entry of /dir1 which is exported for the local subnet
Now, if I try to mount exported share dir1 on other machine using the
below command, it cribs as shown below...
Machine 2# mount 192.xxx.xxx.xxx:/dir1 /mount_pt
mount: 192.168.7.26:/vaibhav failed, reason given by server: Permission
In /var/log/messages it says that authenticated request from the mentioned
Not able to know why is it not able to mount it. Is this the limitation of
FUSE, that one cannot export the dir using NFS on which FUSE is mounted ?
Waiting anxiously for experts reply...
