Category: None Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Some RZX files won't play Initial Comment: On mac os x 10.3.5, using Fuse 0.7.0.1. All rzx files were taken from rzxarchive.co.uk. I've made a note of each error and the games associated with it: "Fuse Error libspectrum: libspectrum_rzx_read: unknown RZX block ID 0x52" ZX Hero, Monty On The Run, Manic Muslim (Did a test with Monty On The Run on both Fuse 0.6.1.1 and 0.6.2.1: same results as above) --------------------- "Fuse Error libspectrum: libspectrum_rzx_playback: more INs during frame 24003 than stored in RZX file (72)" Dark Side --------------------- "Fuse Error libspectrum: libspectrum_rzx_playback_frame: wrong number of INs in frame 2710: expected 9, got 0" Lightforce --------------------- "Fuse Error libspectrum: libspectrum_rzx_playback_frame: wrong number of INs in frame 65951: expected 101, got 100" Cauldron 2 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Philip Kendall (pak21) Date: 2005-12-25 18:13 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=29214 Light Force complains after 1109 frames with the latest CVS. There's not an obvious retriggered interrupt or anything in the file at that point, but I'm suspicious about frame 1106, which takes Fuse > 90000 tstates to emulate. I'll ask Dunny and Jon Needle for a trace of Spin and Spectaculator doing that bit and try and spot any obvious differences (see fuse-emulator-devel). ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Philip Kendall (pak21) Date: 2005-12-24 16:50 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=29214 Manic Muslim and Monty on the Run are both corrupt files: they have another RZX header appended at the end of the file for no readily apparent reason. I see no ZX Hero file on the RZX Archive. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: jdaw1 (jdaw1) Date: 2005-12-22 01:44 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1085403 OK, I can't attach an example, but would be happy to email one to interested parties. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: jdaw1 (jdaw1) Date: 2005-12-22 01:38 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1085403 Fredrick Meunier has kindly sent me a test version of Mac Fuse with rollback, and it records files that won't play. Hopefully I'll be able to attach an example. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=596648&aid=1383664&group_id=91293 |
