Exact behavior you are experiencing: Will run for a while
before it locks up Further. It then won't work, can't shut
it down and then can only turn off computer by turning
it off (will not shutdown). It does not matter how many
uploads or downloads are happening, it will happen
anyway. Problem started in v1.7.3 and hoped new
version would correct it. No problems at all with v1.7.2
Very rare to never that any other apps would be run
when using further. Anti-Virus program is Norton version
7.00 build 81
