fura ( Grid Middleware ) / News: Recent posts

Since August 2009, the Fura project will not include the source packages. The project is still maintained through the CVS repository. You can get the last version of Fura from there. You will have to download the files, compile them, and install them.

If you want to try Fura, without compiling nor installing it , you can do so by accessing it in the cloud. Visit www.gridsystems.com for further information.

We are proud to announce the immediate availability of the Fura 1.5-alpha source code for download.

This version contains only minor changes in its public interface and APIs, but large refactorings in its internals, which have highly improved factors like scalability and stability.

We have been working hard these days in preparing our code for generating a complete technical web site for this project.

Now, we are proud to say we have something to show, at last! It is still a work in progress, but it will be a matter of days to be completed.

Meanwhile, you can give a try to the IG V Community Edition binaries from GridSystems web page (www.gridsystems.com), as both products are based on the same technology.
