As information about fuppex:

We are started to migrate the database into a new layout.
Some work of this is done, but much things are very buggy or doesn't work.

The trunk is stable and can be used (is fuppes with some patches).

The branch new_db_layout is the current development battleground. This version will not work well and should only be used when you want to help to hunt bugs.
