I am currently compiling FUPPES r627 for my DroboShare and need a way to specify the path of taglib-config and simage-config. This patch adds the --with-taglib-cfg and --with-simag-cfg options so that they path to those files can be specified. These options are then passed to AC_PATH_PROG.

    yes please. Searching for taglib-config (as svn 634 does) in $prefix/bin isn't quite correct. On Fedora 10, taglib-config is in /usr/bin/ but if you aren't ./configure --prefix=/usr then it fails to find it.

    Why not just search the PATH for taglib-config? Simply:

    --- configure.ac (revision 661)
    +++ configure.ac (working copy)
    @@ -145,7 +145,7 @@
    TAGLIB_LIBS=""

    if test -z "$TAGLIB_CONFIG"; then
    - AC_PATH_PROG(TAGLIB_CONFIG, taglib-config, no, $prefix/bin/)
    + AC_PATH_PROG(TAGLIB_CONFIG, taglib-config, no)
    fi

    if test "$TAGLIB_CONFIG" != "no" ; then

    This is a common issue that should be dealt with. Thankyou for actually implementing fixes yourselves; I will take what you both have written and merge them into the development repository. No more --prefix=/usr/ would be nice.

    Merged into the development repository: I have asked Uli to check that this does not effect anything.
