No

it will be nice if fuppes can route http streams via upnp

so that an stream from web or for example from vdr (video disc recorder) can direcly send to the upnp client

i think in config file it looks like this

<fuppes_config version="0.7.2.3">
<shared_objects>
<dir>/dir/Movies</dir>
<url>http://localhost:3000/001.mpg</url>
<url>http://localhost:3000/002.mpg</url>
<url>http://localhost:3000/003.mpg</url>
<url>http://localhost:3000/004.mpg</url>
</shared_objects>
<network>
...

in my case the urls will be never ending streams..

nice will be that fuppes kan handel files via http and never ending streams :-) like live TV

i think mediatomb have somethink like that ... i you want to look how i can work ;-)

thanks ..

with kind regard dominique

    I fully support this request, which will enhance VDR in a great way. Potentially it will allow the use of the network connection on f.i. Philips tv sets to acces live streams.

    Yes,it will be the great option for fuppes. It will allow to stream IPTV and radio on routers with fuppes (openwrt, etc.) to UPnP or DLAN devices such as new TVs.
