i've used gaim for several years and have used pidgin since it came out. when the 2.4 came out, i thought it was a bug with the no-resize for the input section. so i waited patiently for a new revision to come out so i can upgrade with pidgin. my friend told me today about funpidigin coming out and then pointed me to the bug requests on pidgins site and i was floored. how can they be so blind to see that user feedback would be so insane. i work tech support for a software company and when part of our program isn't up to par, i know we feel it immediately and take a look at it as soon as possible. flat out denying the wishes of users, especially ones so passionate in their argument is suicide. i'm tempted to say that if they choose not to fix, they have about 6 more months before people stop using pidgin at all.

kudos to you for funpidgin. i downloaded and switched immediately to it as soon as i got the link and will update all of my boxes to use funpidgin as soon as possible. thank you for understanding what the EU needs.
