The FUMOLA co-simulation environment

Welcome to the online documentation of FUMOLA, a co-simulation environment based on the Ptolemy II simulation framework.

About FUMOLA: Read about the FUMOLA basics, including a discussion of the provided FMU actors.

Installation (binary version): The easiest way to install FUMOLA is this binary version (Windows 32-bit).

Installation (from source code): Advanced users and non-Windows users may want to build and install FUMOLA directly from source code.

Running simulations with FUMOLA: Overview of how to run co-simulations with FUMOLA.

Creating FUMOLA models using Vergil: Using Vergil, Ptolemy II's graphical user interface, is the easiest and most convenient way to set up your own co-simulation.

Creating FUMOLA models using the JAVA Kernel API: When using graphical models is not feasible anymore, FUMOLA co-simulation models can also be done in JAVA.
