As has been reported by others - no FullXML site pages
ever load
1. MSXML 4 is present on my servers, and has been for
some time.
2. FullXML was configured as a web application in a
sub web. When that failed, it was configured as the
root web application.
3. IIS 5 on Windows 2000 Professional and Server,
Service Pack 2.
4. Folders db and media given write permission.

As may not have been reported before - I noticed that
the CFullXMLEngine.asp refers to a number of xml files
in the db folder. The zip file contained none of these
files, just a useless file called empty.txt whose
contents consist of ";)".

Unless these files are present in another download, I
guess I'll just put this down as a scam and delete the
sites.

Since there is no response to this as of May 21, I can only
assume that this is another open-source thing that only
works in very limited circumstances. I have deleted all the
files and archives and will advise my clients that this
    product does not work.

The fullxml support forums were all in www.fullxml.com site,
I think the developers don't use currently sourgeforge.

Hmmmm. I've gotten the site working on both a virtually-hosted
site and on my own server running IIS 5.0. Works wonderfully!

I'd suggest tha if you are having problems, try these fellas web
    site:
    http://www.fullxml.com

Thanks for the input. A colleague pointed out a new version,
and I gave that a try. It did work on my main server, and I did
find some helpful information on fullxml.com forums, but it
    was a long search.

While I do have one working server, I have another that is not
working. In addition, I can't get it to work on a workstation at
    all. (Sigh)

I guess this bug should be closed, though...
