Just thought I'd give you my thoughts on and some
suggestion for the program.

Overall nice job, exactly what I needed.

First thing the syncing. With large syncs (before the
"task decision" screen appears) when the source is
being checked it'd be nice to have a simple bar graph
to show how much is left to check.

In the "task decision" screen there are a few things.
For files that have "source changed" it'd be good to
have why stated after it, like the dates changed from ?
to ?, the size has changed to ????bytes or both. Also a
section in the window that tells you how much data is
about to be transferred would be handy. A cancel button
during the syncing process I think's needed. And when
you do a sync scan and nothing needs to be
changed/synced change the "go" button to a close button
that closes the "task decision" screen.

What's the little clock picture in the main window
menu? I can't seem to click it, even if things are
scheduled :S

Speaking of scheduling the "autostart scheduler" in
preferences, if I tick it and click OK then go back
into preferences it's unticked again, even after a
restart ?? What's "Contrab" mean/do in the scheduling
options? You could maybe do the scheduling page up a
bit, like add a graphical calendar for easy selection
etc. You also need to add scheduling stuff into the
help files :)

Maybe have an option in preferences to limit the
amount/size/oldest date of/in the log file. So if the
size/date is exceeded it starts removing the old stuff
from the log file.

That's all I can think of at the moment, great work
love the interface. Can't wait until version 1.0 comes
out!!

Thanks, hope that helps.

thanks a lot, looks like much nice stuff. some of those are
already on the todo list but still it's good to know someone
would be happy if it gets implemented ;).

yes... erm... let me explain it this way: the clock is
located where it is located to make sure the user knows that
the "run" and "stop" button just right to it are related to
"scheduling". i just didn't find a better way to make that
sure except putting a clock into both icons making them
utterly ugly... but maybe i'll have a second try on this (to
be exact: not me! it would be ugly in all cases if i would
try it myself :D... but i have some helper who handle this)

About the scheduling start/stop button icons, may I suggest
that the icon itself have a little clock timer bit added to
the icon, like the way it's done to a process icon when the
process has been scheduled. So it ends up being the green
arrow or red cross with a little timer clock in the corner.
I think that'd make it a bit more obvious what it does.

What's "Contrab" mean/do in the scheduling options?

Also can I suggest a auto minimise preference option for
program startup. That way on system startup it can load and
stay in the system tray with the scheduling on.
