Hi everyone! At my work we're trying to store data for microarray experiments. We're looking into several different packages to store it in a MIAME-compliant way, but although we're smart folk around here we're really at a loss for domain expertise. Is FuGE mature enough to store everything from the image data on up to the protocols used? What scope do you concentrate on?
There seem to be a million projects out there that focus on one ontology or another, but I don't see where people are storing it all in a database where they can do searches on it. I was led to this site by GUSDB.org. On their website it says FuGE is a related project to GUS. Is this the case? What is the nature of this relation?
Sorry to ask so many neophyte questions. It's just a bit overwhelming to be jumping into biotech when my background is mostly CS.
Thanks for any responses that come!
