#5 NSLookup of non-ip addresses

If I paste an ftp site into ftp-list checker

ie:

ftp://server.name.org/dir/dir/dir

it won't recognize it as an ftp, unless I manually do an
NSlookup of the ip...

Is there a way to implement the auto lookup or
translation of imported ftp sites to IP's?
