#56 File being transferred, corrupted by losing connection ftp

when initiating a file transfer, if you lose your Internet connection or shuts down the program or the computer. The file being transferred is corrupted. Should I cancel the transfer, leaving everything as it was.

    I am working on fixing this by downloading/uploading to temporary files and then replacing the original ones, after verifying that they haven't been corrupted. A fix should be out soon!

    An check for corruption isn't performed well yet. After a synch which was interrupted by a loss of connection quite some files were saved corrupted and not replaced by an later synch. Even after some changes from this user the good files on the server were replaced by the corrupted ones(luckily did i have an backup (of this 1,3 GB of data))

    This should be fixed with version 2.2.2.
    FTPbox now downloads/uploads to temp files and, when done, replaces the outdated files only if each temp file is the exact same size as the original.

    This should fix file corruption caused by interrupted file transfers...
