[Ftdi-usb-sio-devel] cat /dev/ttyUSB0, kernel panic

Was testing the driver with
$ cat /dev/ttyUSB0
which works, until ctrl-c and then the kernel panics.
So tried writing a program that does a read() and
then a close() and the kernel survives without hicup.
This is with (vanilla) kernel 2.4.20.
