[Ftdi-usb-sio-devel] howto: setting up driver to ftdi usb

Howdy,

I have attached a 245 "B" to a usb cable on a 2.2.20
linux kernel.  When I cat /proc/bus/usb/devices it shows
up just fine.  When I open /dev/usb/ttyUSB0 I have no
errors, but when I try to send data to the chip, I get no
RFX response.  I assume I've got something wrong in the
set up call to the driver.  What are the correct serial
parameters the driver wants to see?

It seems like the serial parameters don't matter, but
I bet they have to be what the driver likes.  Any
hints appreciated!
