[Ftdi-usb-sio-devel] ref: ftdi_sio driver has error from flowcontrol urb

Hi guys,

I am not sure if I am asking questions at the right place.



I have a problem on ftdi_sio driver of Linux  4.14 running on hardware
based on FreeScale’s iMX6ull.



The ftdi_sio driver works fine at the beginning and keeps sending |
receiving data for a few hours, until all of a sudden, there is an error:

*ftdi_sio ttyUSB0: error from flowcontrol urb*

Then ttyUSB0 either stops working, or disconnected as:

*ftdi_sio ttyUSB0: FTDI USB Serial Device converter now disconnected from
ttyUSB0*

or the system has received a reboot signal.

This is happening almost 100% , but the time of occurring may be variant.



>From the Internet, I can see there are similar bug reports from others, but
they seem not having a solid fix.

I appreciate any information or helps from you.
