[Ftdi-usb-sio-devel] High CPU usage

Hi,

I am using a FT232RL USB to Serial adapter.  Baudrate = 230400, one stop and
start bit, software flow control enabled.

I am using this on the 2.6.27 kernel.

I am wondering why my cpu is at 100% when I am transmitting data
continuously.  When I use the same adapter and python code on a windows
machine I get 3% cpu usage. Is this a known issue?
