#3 switching into TreeV mode crashes & brings X server down

in version 0.9 switching into TreeV mode crashes &
brings X server down , the error output says just
"Gdk-ERROR **: Fatal IO error 104 (Connection reset bvy
peer) on X server :0.0.

this happens to me under Gentoo 2005.0 and Fedora Core 4
(different machine) installation, I have software
rendering.
MapV mode works flawlessly.

I am using xorg/X11 x server on 2.6.1x kernels.
I don't know if I will have free time to investigate
this more.
