Hi,

i found a strange error when loading
down a big file (~300MB).

The file is temp. downloaded, scanned for virus,
transfer begins.

It takes long because of a slow
connection (10MB/sec).

After some time (~ 5 min)
the transfer stops because of a timeout.

Here you can see the session from
the view of the ftp-client :

--snipp--
ftp> get bigfile
200 PORT command successful. Consider using PASV.

ftp> bye

Here you can see the log of frox for this session :

Thu Mar 16 17:44:33 2006 frox[16200] S: 421 Timeout.
--snipp--

Timeout is set to a value far behind the duration of
the transfer.

--snipp--
# Number of seconds of no activity before closing session
# Defaults to 300
#
#
Timeout 1200
--snipp--

I looked at the code, but i couldn't find the place
where the timeout-message is written ...

Timeout is set correctly in config.timeout, i made a
debugging fprint to see it after "read_config()"
is done ...

So, maybe some of the developers can give me a hint
or find a solution.

greets Harry
