Well not before time I've managed to stop being a lazy git and gotten the Frogface website back online. I've updated the content so it's not really 'beta' anymore although there is one persistent bug in Internet Explorer which puts www.frogface.org in the unusual position of supporting pretty much every common browser other than IE!
After a prolonged absence while I move webhosting services and the like, the frogface project mailing list (frogface-general) and the wiki (www.frogface.org/wiki) has been restored. The actual frogface website itself (www.frogface.org) is still not back - although some development work still needs to be done on this so it might be offline for a little while yet.
Due to the circumstances outside of our control there has been severe disruption to the project's communication recently. This has been due to damage to my webhosts server. Hopefully things will be back in action soon but for now note that the email addresses frogface-general AT frogface.org, declanmcgrath AT frogface.org and declanmcgrath AT users.sourceforge.net are not working. I will post a reply when things are back in action.... read more
There is rejoicing on the streets and gasps of disbelief from stunned onlookers as the Frogface sourceforge repository gets it's first commit of 2007. Although, the patch dealt with the less than sexy topic of creating the underlying data classes for the buddy feature of the project, hopefully it will be the first of many in the coming year!
It's not the first ever dive logging software so what makes Frogface different. I've tried to get at the core of this on my blog, which you can read at the following URL

The existing Frogface code has been uploaded to the SourceForge. You can browse/download it under the 'Code' dropdown of the above menu. Go forth and enjoy all that lovely code!
A small step for mankind, a giant leap for Frogface!
Our beloved application has been entered into the coding compo at http://dot.kde.org/1167964609. It would be nice to win a few of the new Qtopia Greenphones! Although I'd be willing to settle for a MacBook :)
After moving all the way to New Zealand, I've been a little distracted of late and not gotten the code ready quite as soon as I'd hoped. Still, I've got most of it cleaned up and expect to have code up by the start of next week. Then the real work will begin!
