Some time ago some people reported that whenever they loaded .d64 or .t64 programs, they get a DEVICE NOT PRESENT ERROR
Does anyone has a solution for that?
I installed successfully the newest version of pippin (4.1.b) on my Tungsten E (European version, Palm 5.2)
It starts and everythink works except I cannot load any files:
LOAD "*",8,1
LOAD "$",8,1
LOAD "*",9,1
LOAD "$",9,1
LOAD "*",10,1
LOAD "*",11,1
results in "DEVICE NOT PRESENT ERROR"
I tested devices like 0..4
LOAD "*",0
LOAD "*",1
...
which results in "ILLEGAL DEVICE NUMBER"
If I load from the menu "File Manager" the .d64 are correctly shown from SD card and PDB but if I select one of these nothing happens. Also RUN or LOAD "* seems to have no effect.
I changed my Country prefs to U.S.A but same happens
If there is someone using a Tungsten E who can load Files, could you write down your Palm configuration to see whether there is a problem with specific palm models?
If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:

You have to "insert the disk" whit the menu options first (file manager)
