The cursor keys on your keyboard bmps are the wrong way round.
The normal keyboard has UP and LEFT but pressing them makes the cursor move DOWN and RIGHT, respectively. The SHIFTed keyboard has DOWN and RIGHT but pressing them moves the cursor UP and LEFT. :)

(whoops) Originally, I just guessed, since I don't have C=64 accessible. I noticed the problem, same as you, so I fixed it. Unfortunately I seem to have included the wrong bitmaps in public beta 1! Sorry!

It would be even better to have all four keys in a seperate layout (maybe on the right side of the keyboard), so you do not have to press shift to navigate around the screen :)

It would be even better to have all four keys in a seperate layout (maybe on the right side of the keyboard), so you do not have to press shift to navigate around the screen :)
So use the cursor keys on the keyboard, if you have one, or grafitti left-right.
