I don't know if this is a known bug for you. When a program is running and the emulator crashes (for example when you switch from the 256-color mode to 16-color mode), the program disappear (!) from the file manager list. My palm is a Zire 71 and the programs are stored in the main palm memory (ie, not in the expansion card).

I have exactly the same problem. The only way to restore the file in the database is to synchronize or beam the file again.
