There's a problem with dollar signs in lists:

This

* This list item costs $25

Gets formatted as

<ul>
<li>This list item costs *5</li>
</ul>

Without looking at the source code, it seems that the
regexp is picking up the $2 as part of a substitution
group, and replacing it with the '*' which was probably
the second thing matched in that line.

    This is due to a known "feature" of Sun's regex processing in
    Java 1.4. As with most regex errors, the work around is to
    download the "Friki for all versions of Java" version which uses
    the much more sensible jregex package to do the work.

    With any luck, all this sort of problems should be eliminated in
    Friki 2.1.0 which does its regex processing in a different way.
