FreshMint

FreshMint is a bash script which updates a fresh Linux Mint 14 system. It installs the LightDM login manager and updates the desktop layout.

The goal is to make a Linux Mint system easier to use. Normal scrollbars on windows are replaced with overlay scrollbars, auto-play is disabled for inserted media and desktop shortcuts are disabled for mounted volumes.

Wallpapers are installed from the elementary project and the default wallpaper is updated for the cinnamon desktop and the login window. Plank dock is used as a task-bar for switching between open applications.

The script makes only minimal changes to the system and can be easily edited to remove any unwanted changes.
