I would like to suggestion instantiating the Browser.* class interfaces while FreeWRL is running standalone, so that FreeWRL itself reports itself as a browser if it is not running as a plugin.

It would be very nice to run and debug vrmlscript and ECMAscript without the tedious steps of making a stub webpage, loading some browser that hides error messages, then try to actually debug the script.

Instead, if I could just run FreeWRL <world> and have it continue to dump errors to the command line window that would be great.

Specifically, I would like to request the ability to use the following javascript calls in FreeWRL running as a standalone application:
Browser.getName()
Browser.getVersion()
Browser.getCurrentSpeed()
Browser.getCurrentFrameRate()
Browser.getWorldURL()
Browser.replaceWorld()
Browser.createVRMLFromString()
Browser.createVRMLFromURL()
Browser.addRoute()
Browser.deleteRoute()
Browser.loadURL()
Browser.setDescription()
