Freevo version 1.7.4 has been released.

This release contains some new (Afrikaans and Romanian) and updated translations. DVB streamer, new web configuration tool, audio and video podcast plug-ins just scratch the surface of what is new in this release. So if you get bored of just watching TV and videos, listening to music or looking at pictures these is still plenty for everyone.

Freevo 1.6.1 release contains a number of bug fixes for Freevo 1.6.0 and some fixes for older bugs.

Freevo 1.6.0 release contains a large number of changes and fixes. The most notable of these is multi-tuner support allowing watching and recording at the same time. This release also includes the ivtv_xine_tv plug-in for IVTV cards, that allows pausing live TV broadcasts.

Also an update to mmpython-0.4.10 is required, it is available from:

Sorry, I always forget the sf news page. So the latest release is 1.5.4 based on 1.5.3 and only adds Python 2.4 support

This release includes many new features, one important feature is Xine support to have DVD navigation (optional). Because of legal issues, the binary release doesn't contain Mplayer anymore (and not Xine). Please download Mplayer from http://www.mplayerhq.hu/homepage/design6/dload.html and Xine from http://xinehq.de/index.php/releases. To have full Xine support in Freevo, you need xine-ui > 0.9.21. Until Xine releases a new version, you need a daily snapshot.
