I posted a bug with regards to the stripping of server
names with regards to ssl and "https".
Along similar lines with regards to the stripping of server
names, I wanted to suggest using a modalDialog
interface and a helper file for creating and editing
hyperlinks.
The reason for this is that, if a relative link
(ie "default.aspx") is created, html mode is entered, the
user returns to design mode, and then goes to edit the
link, the entire path (Server Name and path) to the
relative link is displayed in the execCommand createlink
interface that is displayed.
Another advantage of using the helper file within a
modalDialog interface for handling links is that you can
allow users to select an anchor target for the link that
they're creating.
