I installed FreeTDS version 0.91 to connect with SQL Server 2008, but I found our old problem with null values returning a string with space.
Then I applied the patch to fix this, but it returned an error in '_DB_GETCOLINFO'.

This patch only change this macro to function 'dbcolptr()'
