[Overflow] Question

Hello, I'm trying to install FreeSpeech since ages now, and it always gives 
the same error (im using the CVS version):

checking for libxml...
Unknown library `xml'
libxml not found

But, I have libxml installed:
[root@ionical manual]# urpmi libxml
everything already installed

I can't get it to work, can anybody please help me? :)
