Is the C++ version of FreeRails still actively maintained?

The last CVS commit was 3 months ago.  Alex is in charge of the C++ 
version and I am not sure what his plans are.  I am working in the Java 
version which is where most of the recent development activity has been.

it isn't maintained actively, also not all latest changes are in cvs (some 
files are missing) ... in the next time I will bring this files to an end so 
I can check them into cvs. (Also the missing images).

Hi Sander,

Now cvs is up to date. There are some files missing to compile the ParaGUI 
client, I don't know if the QT client compiles cause there is no one who work 
on it.

Are you interested in help? If yes, I can send you the missing ParaGUI files, 
but they are nor very clean (also the missing tiles.conf I need at the moment 
for animations, but later I want to use the same xml's as in jfreerails).

ParaGUI is clear, cause some files are missing still yet in CVS. QT, don't

in the src/wrapper directory you can put your things. You need to implement 
some of the classes there and the GuiEngine class is a helper to make the 
life easier. IMHO the Base2DMapView functions basing on calculation of the 
right MapTile inside the old tiles image (where all tiles in one file).

BaseApplication is a must to implement as "GameApplication". In the Makefiles 
you need to set $(WRAPPER). Excuse that the wrapper concept isn't nice and 
well formed, it was only a fast way to develop both clients (QT/ParaGUI).

Maybe I can help you with all points.

I noticed that there's also a program called Railz. Seems to be a fork
of FreeRails. Any reason why it forked?
