I would like to keep the project, or at least a significant version of it, as simple, lean, and comparable to what Raiderwars itself was. OF course we all have different ideas of things we could add to it and make it more complex, but perhaps best to save those parts to build on the same engine for something different, once we do eventually figure out a suitable engine.

After almost 18 years away from working code, I am retiring from my full time job (September 2016). I have a number of projects to do in Retirement and have just added this project to the list. I intend to self update myself on current software code and development and if I am successfull, I may be reviving this project by early 2017.

+FreeRaider is/will be the free version of Raider Wars, a massive multiplayer online space combat game. Most likly it will evolve to something bigger since we are incorporating new ideas. Let us know if you have a nifty idea. (Currently this project is in Limbo due to lack of coder volunteers)
