Hi,

In another mind map tool I am using (mainly for mobile) there is a feature where on the right side (where we would see the note panel and format panel) there is a tree view of all nodes, but just as text as outline, and they can be folded and expanded, they they don't have any format and it is just the core text. And if we click on any of these, it jumps right to the node in question in the map. This can help navigation.
I know that in Freeplane there is the outline view. But if one stays in normal view, this could maybe help to navigate specially large maps with large expanded nodes.

    Also if this tree view could be searched and filtered using a text box and a filter button and a search button on the same panel, it would be great for finding nodes quickly.

    Also that mind map app as another feature called overview, which is a small mini map of the larger map and you move a square (the screen) over that overview to move the map to regions. The overview looks like this:
