Hi,

A shortcoming of "icon from table" window is that it sticks the workflow, since other Freeplane commands can't be accessed. Other shortcoming is that after adding the icon, the window closes automatically, but it would benefit from be kept opened, for other icons adding, removal, etc.

It could be a "preference" setting, which would affect "icon from table" behaviour:

  • When window opened, it stays floating while other commands can be accessed.
  • Window still opened after adding icons.
  • Window closes just when user clicks on x (close).

If you need further detail, please let me know.

Thanks,
Carlos

Adding to the request, it would be great if once resized, "icon from table" window size be kept through different sessions. Just when opened, the icons are vey tiny in the window, so I often increase the window size as showed in this snapshot - http://i.imgur.com/SQYKTwS.png - but every session I need to resize again.

Just emphasizing the icon window resize kept through sessions is secondary, although welcomed, in relation to the initial request "Floating "icon from table" window; still open after adding icon".

    Thanks for considering it,
    Carlos
