I understand now why it doesn't work, it is because of I added an icon to the node, if there is no icon it works, then add an icon (like the floppy disk icon) and then it doesn't work anymore. Could this be fixed?

I dont use this feature, but it looks soo powerfull, to execute scripts with a simple click in a node... Hope it gets fixed in future versions

The feature in the new FP version works for me on Win 7, and also I just tested a node linked to save all opened maps and it worked too.
It's not working for me, I recreated the link even and clicking the node only fold/unfold the child node.
The node with a link to menu item should have an icon which executes the menu command if you click it.
How specifically do you make this work? I'm not seeing how to do it.

Never mind. I figured it out. It seems to work for me on Windows 8.1 with the newest build.

Adding other icons to the node does not cause any interruption on my map. There must be something else, I guess.

Could you please check if this bug entered with the fix for https://sourceforge.net/p/freeplane/bugs/2305/ ?
It work for me with the latest Freeplane 1.5.6_02 (and 03) if I click on the exactly on the icon associated with the menu entry.
