You have the possibility to use groovy scripts to solve problems like that.
If it is really important for you to have such a functionality and you can explain the use case with more details, then maybe someone from the community can help you creating a first version of that script.
I know this may not help you this time, but I can tell you my experience and I use scripts all the time. Most of them are pretty simple and have just a few lines but they help me greatly to solve trivial problems.
