Now, when I save a mm file and close FreePlane. When a open the file, I see some nodes and edges are "open". If I change, save, close and open the file, the same nodes and edges are visible. Consequently, if I want to go to some other nodes, I must every time use "space" or "develop all" (not sure about translation, I speak French and I installed FreePlane in French). It's a (little) waste of time.
How to save a file so that, when I open next time it, I see exactly the nodes I saw when I saved and closed the file ?

Bonjour, comment ca va?
Perhaps you can try playing with the options under Tools -> Preferences as shown in the screenshot?
hello penguinturtle,
there is Preferences->Environment->Save->Save folding where you can control that the folding
state is always saved. Is that what you want?
Cheers and Best Regards,
Felix
