I created some test attributes, which I could delete from the nodes they were attached.
However, even after that, attributes are still existing and being listed by the map, for instance when I insert new attributes to other nodes or through the attribute manager too (image below).
Many thanks for reply Dimitri.
I saved/reopen the map, and one of the undesirable attributes has gone.
I could understand the general idea that when there is no attribute attached to an actuall node it won't remain in the map, since after reopening the map the orphan attributes will be cleaned.
However, there is other attribute that is still being listed in the map, even it doesn't exist in any actual node.
As showed in this screen-recording - https://goo.gl/Kgiqdn - I searched for this attribute, but it isn't being even found.
It is like a phantom leftover.
Do you have further direction on how could I try to delete it, even by editing the .mm source file directly?

Hi,
I'd appreciate help.
I created some test attributes, which I could delete from the nodes they were attached.

I also recorded my screen showing the issue: https://goo.gl/zmlFGF
How to delete attributes from map list completely?
Thanks!

Save the map and reopen (reload) it.

Issue solved!
I create a blank map, then copied all content from the other map.
The undesirable attribute simply disappeared after that.
