    You have not attached the mind map file, so I can only guess what your "fuzzy" image appears inside of node core or details containing html node.

    If my guess is true I can not do much about it, but you can try to add image using Insert->Image->Add image and write me back if it works better.

    yes, your guess is right. the problem only exists in core text / details / note dialog, they are html node.
    the image inserted as externalObject works fine, but I seldom use it.
    I prefer html content, because it can contains more information:
    image.png
