Pressing once command keystroke, like ⌘+N, ⌘+Z, ⌘+C, ⌘+X..., I have desired action twice.
Alternatively, аctivating the same action by menu mouse click makes no any problem.

Does the problem occurs for all ⌘+<character> combinations or only for a part?
Could you attach accelerator.properties file from your freeplane user config directory (tools -> open user directory)? What happens if you rename this file?

It looks like a miracle. Immediately after..
1. exiting Freeplane
2. renaming accelerator.properties to __accelerator.properties
3. entering Freeplane
.. the problem has dissapeered and new accelerator.properties has created

I can not reproduce the problem.
I created forum thread https://sourceforge.net/p/freeplane/discussion/758437/thread/339bb149/ to check if any other user has the same issue.

Great! Problem seems to be solved by renaming!
Do you need renamed file?

Yes of course
Thank you
File was renamed by adding "__"
Thank you for quick response!
Your file has no content, just a comment line. It is not likely to be responsible for the problem you described.

Which java version do you use?
1.8.0_131
The Freeplane has the same behavior on my macOS. I will have to switch from Chinese input method to U.S. keyboard for ⌘+C, ⌘+V to work properly.
Step to reproduce:
1. Switch to Chinese input method
2. Try Command-C, Command-V
3. The actions are performed twice
Java version: 1.8.0_121
