#139 Time Out if Server Nonresponsive to Syncronous Message

Presently, if the human client is connected to the server and is playing a turn, and the server process is killed and then the human client then sends a syncronous message to the server (eg. new object id request), the human client hangs waiting for a server response that will never come. It would be better if the client timed out of waiting after a reasonable amount of time, aborting the current game and returning to the main splash menu screen.
