I think it's revealing 1 system when first created and then not working again?

    Does this still happen in the latest SVN test build? For how long after producing an Observatory have you tested and not gotten any system reveals?

    Ah I hadn't tried it with the test release. I was using the stable release though I did play on a lot longer. I'll get back to you.

    I downloaded the test version 7108 and tried it on there. Just made a simple map with 150 stars and no enemies, beelined to observatory and built one. Did no exploring. Does'nt seem to be doing anything now. Ran on for about 10 turns but could still only see the two systems and 2 unexplored systems.

    I've commented out the tech and building in the game files. It's not really a workable building design with the current game mechanics for visibility and stealth, which have a hard range limit. Things previously worked differently for low (zero) stealth objects, which was the mechanism the Observatory used, but can't work the same way now.
