Hello.

I'm using freeorion/gigi from SVN (checked out on 2007.12.06) on FreeBSD 6.2-RELEASE.

When I click the "Research" tab the program freezes for some time and then there is a Bus Error. I built it with debug=1 but couldn't get more information than this:

#0 0x34b31537 in pthread_testcancel () from /lib/libpthread.so.2
No symbol table info available.
#1 0x34b29ec8 in pthread_mutexattr_init () from /lib/libpthread.so.2
No symbol table info available.
#2 0x34c71470 in ?? ()
No symbol table info available.

If you know how can I get more information please tell me and I'll send it.

Contact me with this address: alepulver at freebsd dot org.

Best Regards,
Ale

Likewise, I also experience a crash when trying to open the Research tab (on every attempt, no successes thus far).

    Using Windows Vista Business

No idea if this will help, but the Vista problem report follows

I am unable to reproduce this in Linux either. The forum post below is unrelated.

Well, the bug submitter has had ample time to give us more info, and Vista is not actually even supported.
